THE DATA FOUNDATION

Altcoin data. A clearer contract.

Bring Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and Web3 token records into a common structure—without flattening the differences that make each observation meaningful.

An effective data layer begins with the question your application needs to answer. A balance screen, a historical study, and an AI research workflow need different records. Start with a defined asset universe, then agree the fields, timing, and evidence that belong in the response.

What to define

01 / FIELD OF VIEW

Identity before labels

Keep network and native identifiers separate from changeable names and symbols.

02 / FIELD OF VIEW

Observations before interpretation

Retain source values alongside the calculations and classifications built from them.

03 / FIELD OF VIEW

A contract you can test

Define missing fields, corrections, replay behavior, and coverage boundaries before scaling.

Define the smallest useful dataset

Describe the user, the workflow, and the decision that a record supports. Specify native Bitcoin context, Ethereum contracts, or Solana mints according to the intended universe. A useful pilot has a clear boundary: enough variety to test the model, but not so much breadth that incomplete records disappear inside an impressive total.

Keep the meaning attached

Every delivered value should travel with its identity, units, relevant time, source reference, and quality state. A display amount is not the raw integer. A description is not a contract observation. A calculated feature is not an unqualified source fact. Preserve these distinctions in the schema and the interface.

Evaluate delivery with difficult examples

Test missing metadata, duplicate delivery, interrupted histories, and revised observations. Ask which intervals are complete and which remain unavailable. Scope, delivery methods, usage rights, and performance requirements must be confirmed for the actual feed; they are not implied by the format of a sample.
